Estimating is one of the most difficult tasks that a project manager needs to undertake. In this session, attendees will learn to use a number of simple tools and techniques that will allow them to improve their estimating abilities with minimum effort. They will also understand the different types of things that need to be estimated in order to have a valid final result.
Estimating the size of developments is considered as critical in all aspects of engineering, with the exception of software. As a consequence, many software development groups miss out on a fundamental component required for estimating and tracking their progress.
This is a two day workshop aimed at project managers and key engineering staff.
